The evidence for and against racial-genetic model are the following the hypertension which is prevalent with black and whites in relation to skin color of African American citizens, low birth weight which is prevalent with African-black women in Chicago and U.S-born black women, neonatal mortality which is prevalent also in US-born black women, slavery of the black people which is a controversial issue relative to health disparities. Some evidences dictates that it is against racial-genetic model in a way that it is difficult to find a way of relationship with regards to diseases and racial-genetic model because of the critique and researches that races are biological construct. This model is pervasive today because of the description of races for human as social construction that gives or denies benefits and privileges. As a result, it takes away oneself to claim jurisdiction over characteristics and personality by studying genetic model that coincides to certain health problems which is not properly addressed.
