Did you request an evaluation?

Yes, I did, and the advice was therefore solicited advice

Was the advice needed?

Yes, since I had been having trouble trying to make a decision, but discernment was lacking at the time.

Did you feel the intent of the judgment was genuine and not designed as a put down?

After asking for advice, however, I felt like the information was meant to put me down since I felt like they were trying to pontificate themselves by defining their supremacy by calling all the shots and giving advice regardless of whether it fit the situation.   

Was the advice given in the right sequence?

It was not since the advisor did more talking than listening, which showed that they lacked active listening skills. Similarly, when asking for feedback, my advisor kept cutting me off mid-sentence.

Did the advice come from an expert?

No, it did not

Was the advisor a close and trusted person?

Yes, the advisor was a close friend.
