The claims and counter-claims raised about Haushofer and his geopolitics.

Karl Haushofer, born in 1869, was a geographer in politics, army, and proponent leader in geopolitics. He wrote several books while he was in army Japan, with one of his books being political geography and the Pacific Ocean's geopolitics. The claims raised about him were that he influenced the military circle. He pushed for the need that German should join Russia until he got silenced by Germany's attack on the Soviet Union in 1941. He is believed to have remained loyal to the Japanese and did not have the racial perceptions as the Nazi's ideologies. He instead unleashed geopolitical writing that added Nazi ideas.

Haushofer experienced some pressure when Hitler comes to power, and the was bedeviled, and chances were he would divorce his wife. He was countered that he was ant regime ad anti-sematic legislations. He was pushed to get out of the organization he had built. The counter was his idea that German the best way was to seek lebensraum through global but not continental or expansion. Due to this geopolitics issue, he and his son were arrested but released in 1945. Since they did not want to take Albrecht's death, they took poison with Martha, which paved the way for lebensraum expansion.
