As an IT manager, discuss how your company will use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to integrate the various functions of an entity. What are the advantages of using ERP? Advantages of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP):

·        Elimination of unwanted used data

·        ERP improves performance and saves time in organization by helping the organization is making a right decision.

·        ERP helps in customer response times

·        It helps in reduction of costs and time of litigation.

Examples of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP):

·        Microsoft Dynamics: In computing, Microsoft Dynamics is a line of enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management software applications. Microsoft markets Dynamics applications through a network of reselling partners who provide specialized services.

·        SAP ERP: SAP ERP is enterprise resource planning software developed by the German company SAP SE. SAP ERP incorporates the key business functions of an organization. The latest version was made available in 2006.

·        ERP Next: ERP Next is a free and open-source integrated Enterprise Resource Planning software developed by Frappe Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is built on MariaDB database system using a Python based server-side framework

As an IT manager, my company will use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to integrate the various functions of an entity by getting the below benefits:

·        ERP will help our organization in decision making process at all levels of management.

·        ERP will help our organization in planning future scenarios and future planning.

·        ERP will help our organization in gaining greater control and traceability at all levels of management.

·        ERP will help our organization integrate the supply chain with other management levels.

·        ERP will help our organization will help automate most of the tasks.

·        ERP will help our organization maintaining the finances (expenses and losses).

·        ERP will help our organization to reduce our production costs and it will make our organization more productive.

·        ERP will help our organization will help in increasing the performance and get maximun return of investment in long term

As technologies are growing fast, the uses of technologies is like everywhere starting from the rural areas to urban. People are getting more attached to the Int and social media. Technology helps the business to function its operations more quickly to achieve the best results. Enterprise Resource Planning store and execute the data from various project activities including:

• Financial Resources

• Product planning development 

• Sales and Marketing 

• Inventory Management 

Also ERP application tracks various business resources such as cash, raw materials, production capacity and the other statues of business commitments and requirements. ERP System helps to share the data across the various departments for business planning and decision making process. It facilitates information flow between all the business functions and manage the links to outside stakeholders. ERP is mainly used in the corporate functions to integrate all the departments at one point like Human Resource’s, finance, accounting, basic procedures, reporting and planning etc. We have various advantages of Enterprise Resource Planning which are as follows:

- Enterprise Resource Planning shows the complete visibility into all the important areas across various departments of an enterprise.
