PROJECT STEPS
1.
The nonprofit organization Interns Wanted provides professional development
resources and complies a list of internships for students across the country. As
the new markets expansion lead you create a presentation geared toward
potential business partners. Since many people are unfamiliar with the
internships, you begin by linking to a flyer announcing the summer application
cycle.
On Slide 2 (“Opportunities”), hyperlink the table text “Internship by Sector” to
the file

available for download from the
SAM website.
2.
With Slide 2 still displaying format the table as follows:
a.
Distribute the table rows.
b.
Apply the
Slant
cell bevel effect to the table. (
Hint
: Depending on your
version of Office, the cell bevel effect may be named
Cool Slant
instead.)
3.
With Slide 2 still displaying, insert the picture

a.
Change the height to

and the width will change to approximately

Use Smart Guides to position
the picture next to the table

Embed the chart from the file

In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the next page.
Save your changes, close the presentation, and then exit PowerPoint. Follow the
directions on the SAM website to submit your completed project.
