M4 Assignment (Instructions)

· Write an integration paper (1000 words or 3.5-4 pages except for title and references pages) using one case study and one theory given by your professor. Other additional resources are not required.

· The THEORY that you will use for your integration paper is  Universal Declaration of Human Rights .

· ONE CASE is the documentary video that you watched for your personal response paper.

· The Ninth Floor

· Broken Promises

Essay Structure

1. Introduction

· Introduce the theory or conceptsin a general way

· list the parts/components of the theory to be discussed

· Include a thesis statement explaining what you will integrate (the theory and the situation).

2. Background (Summary of the movie)

· Giving the setting (where & when)

· Introducing main characters (e.g. theirnames, characteristics, life environment, and so on..)

· Describing main events

· Main idea or theme

3. Three body paragraphs

· Organize the essay by case (characters or events) or by theory, depending on the focus you chose for your thesis.

4. Conclusion

· Restate your thesis and any conclusions you have drawn from the integration

Format:

· Typed, double spaced, in 12 point Times New Roman font.

· Margins should be 1 inch (2.54 cm) all around

· APA style.

· Include a formal title page and a reference page.
