I need a response to below Statement

I chose a resource that Jacob Rose provided. It is a book written by Ret. General James Mattis. I believe the lessons learned and best practiced covered by Gen. Mattis would be very helpful for me. As a paramilitary organization, we have many similarities with the military. General Mattis discusses how to be an authoritarian leader when necessary while also remaining a servant leader. In my position, I strive to maintain that exact balance. I want to demonstrate care, compassion, empathy, and service to the firefighers I am leading while simultaneously order them to do things they may not necessarily want to do. This leadership dichotomy can be challenging at times. I am looking forward to reading the book and increasing my knowledge, skills, and abilities in these areas. My goal is to show that you can be a solid and decisive leader that gets stuff done while still remembering the human element of leadership. Many people seem to think it has to be one or the other. We must take care of the employees who get the work done and are our most valuable resource. When we take care of their needs, they will deliver an excellent service/product to our customers.
