Follow the instructions below and post your responses as a new thread in the forum. Your response should be at least 350 words. Respond to at least two other students' posts. When responding to them, expand on what they say and raise questions.

Read through the Final Project Readings authored by the other students in class. The projects are available in Content Browser – Final Project Readings.

While you may not read each of them in detail, you should review all of them and then focus closely on the ones that best suit your answers to the questions below.

Much of the second half of the term was spent learning about examples of how artwork reflects the society and culture in which it was made.

1. On the whole, what does the work presented teach us about our culture? This can be considered from perspectives that range from local to global. Explain your response.

2. Pick two examples of student essays and explain why these works in particular reflect our current time – our society and culture. Consider if the artworks raise questions, provide solutions, or both. Explain.

3. Explain from a personal perspective what drew to the two examples you chose.

4. Respond to at least two other students’ postings.

Remember that you are using specific examples to connect us with broader concepts. Your answer and responses should communicate this clearly.
