For this weekly discussion, I'd like you to research a technology that we are either researching now, or that has come out within the last 6 months. Make sure it is not one that came up in class or the readings. It does not need to be a "revolutionary" technology, but you will find the rest of the assignment easier if you pick more unusual examples. Answer the following questions:
1. What do you think or know the creators of this technology are hoping the societal and/or business impact of this technology is?
2. What do you think the unintended social/business impact of this technology might be within 1 year? 5 years? 20 years?
3. If your prediction is correct, how could you either work to minimize or capitalize on it as you currently are positioned?
4. If this technology is shared with other cultures as you imagine it, what potential social or political values are you sending along with the technology?
5. How should a community figure out if this technology is in their best interest?
