Reinvent patient experience: Patients in the healthcare system whether it be in the hospital, going to physical therapy, or even going to the pharmacy have often expected long lines and nearly endless waiting. Looking forward, it may be good to implement BI into the current system to gain an understanding of what patients need when it comes to their healthcare. This goes beyond improving wait times or long lines. This should give patients a whole new experience which is pleasant and helpful in improving their long-term healthcare.
Leveraging new technology: This means using the cutting-edge technology to help people become the best versions of themselves. This may also mean using that technology to streamline their experience. Having notifications sent to patient's phones when they need to take their medication or using new AI technology to help accurate diagnose ailments may prove to be very successful for the healthcare industry.
Culture: Healthcare providers should be promoting a culture centered around patient care. This means that they are doing everything in their power to help people. This means nurses that give extra attention to their patients. This means doctors that are compassionate and have empathy towards their patient's situations. Overall, this is a change in the human factor of the healthcare industry that can't necessarily be quantified.
