For this assignment, answer two of the four questions listed below to test knowledge and assimilation of the course objectives. Use the course readings. You may supplement with other resources, but you may not substitute. Part of the objective, after all, is to show that you read the required material.

Choose Two Questions to Answer:

· Define power. What makes the US more or less powerful on the international stage? Incorporate at least the PME aspects of the PMESII construct as the framework for your response.

·

· Name three possible grand strategies for the US administration to adopt. Incorporate at least the DIME aspects of the DIMEFIL construct and/or the PME aspects of the PMESII construct as the framework for your response and choose one as the most likely to be effective in the future.

Technical Requirements

· Your answers should be at a minimum 4-5 pages for each question for a total of 8-10 pages total (the Title Page and Bibliography page will be additional pages).

· Scholarly and credible references should be used. A good rule of thumb is at least 2 scholarly sources per page of content.

· Type in Times New Roman, 12 point and double space.

· Students will follow the current Turabian Style as the sole citation and reference style used in written work submitted as part of coursework. 

· Points will be deducted for the use of Wikipedia or encyclopedic type sources. It is highly advised to utilize books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc.

· All submissions will be graded using the assignment rubric.
