Paragraph A

Many hungry students on a budget rely on a few inexpensive foods. Some students simply eat snack food for their meals. For example, they eat microwave popcorn or potato chips instead of a proper lunch or dinner. Others rely on value meals from local fast-food restaurants. These students mostly eat burgers and fries. Yet, others prefer to eat at home. Since cooking at home can be time-consuming, such students tend to rely on frozen dinners, such as chicken pot pies and beef with rice. Students who have even less to spend buy ramen noodles.

Paragraph B

Many hungry students on a budget rely on a few inexpensive items. Some students are on financial aid and do not have money to spend on food. For example, when I was in college, I also had a job, so I did not have time to cook. I used to buy frozen meals. It was worth it, however, because I now have a great job and can enjoy fine dining. In college, sometimes, when I didn't have any money at all, I used to eat ramen noodles. At that time, we didn't have microwaves. Now, students can also enjoy microwave popcorn and toaster pastries.
