What is the Pax Mongolica?

1. The Pax Mongolica also known as Tatarica, is a historiographical term modelled after the original phrase Pax Romana whixh describes the stabilizing effects of the conquests of the mongol. The Pax Mongolica in latin is "Mongol peace" is a phrase coined by Western scholars to describe the social, cultural and economic outcome of the Mongol Empires conquest of the territory from Southeast Asia to Europe in the 13th and 14th centuries.

2. The Mongols constructed the largest Eurasian empire to date. In the process, they destroyed a series of well-established empires. They wreaked widespread destruction on settled populations.
