For example, architectural reconstruction has played a significant role in attracting tourists to various places. It involves replicas of buildings, bridges, and other already existing architectural symbolic structures. Artificial ecosystems are also widespread in the tourism industry. 

Cultural theme parks are also simulacrums used in the tourism industry. These simulacrums are essential in the industry by creating an image of the real person, object, or theme that attracts tourists. Tourists get experience of a replica of the actual thing, which turns out to be a manifestation of a dream and marketing of the heritage of the people
