Could somebody review my paragraph and make sure that it is in the imperfect tense and does not sound translated?
Here is my paragraph.
"Cuando tenía doce años, estaba en sexto grado y vivía en China con mi madre y mi padre. Odiaba vivir allí y estaba enojado todo el tiempo porque tenía que dejar a mis amigos y mascotas en Oklahoma. Me gustó tocar piano y leer libros históricos románticos. No me gustó ir a la escuela porque mi maestro era grosero. Mis clases favoritas eran arte y música. Me gustó usar blusas, jeans y zapatillas de deporte. No me gustó usar faldas."
Here is what I was trying to say in english.
When I was twelve, I was in sixth grade and I lived in China with my mom and dad. I hated living there and I was angry all the time because I had to leave my friends and pets in Oklahoma. I liked playing piano and reading historical romance books. I did not like going to school because my teacher was rude. My favorite classes were art and music. I enjoyed wearing blouses, jeans, and sneakers. I did not like wearing skirts.

The corrected things are in bold.
The explaination for tehc orrection is as follows-
gustaba - it is because you are again talking about the ti=hinga that you 'used to like' at the point of time. It isn't clear if the liking has ended or not and hence imperfect tense will be used just like it is used with all the other verbs.
libros de romántico histórico - historial romance books
llevar - the correct verb for wearing something or carrying some accessory is llevar, not usar.
vaqueros - a better word for jeans
Mis clases favoritas eran las de arte y música - 'las de' is used here to say ' my favourite classes were that of art and music' . This is the correct formation of sentence
