Through this the employer acknowledges employees strength hence building a better work place relationship. This can also help reduce injuries and improve workplace safety. It will also help the employer identify policy violators for displenary action and the end result of all this is to increase customer satisfaction

Demerits include; increasing stress level to staff members because they work knowing they are being monitored, therefore they work towards meeting the work requirement instead of focusing on the quality of work, result to misleading performance results. It also causes feeling of mistrust between employee and the employer and hence making employees feel unsatisfied with the job conditions.

Christians do not encourage harsh monitoring, for example Ephesian 6:9, master is instructed to give up threatening their subjects. Also, Ephessians 6:” Masters do the same to them” This shows that, Christianity is against threatening of workers in the workplace, they should be treated with respect as valuable creatures in the image of God.

CONCLUSSION

Workplace monitoring is ethical and legal so employees should not take it as a mistreatment or, mistrust from their employers. Employers should also not be too much in monitoring, the fact that they the boss, they should not deny their employees some personal privacy, they also give their employees some time for rest and also for their personal activities.
