My philosophy in teaching science is to use realistic materials and hands-on activities because as a teacher I believe that the best learning that we can give to the students/pupils is to let them experience it the things around them and understand the world by simply bringing them into reality. Learning science is fun and full of exploration because it can change the perceptions of every individual if we understand the concept and brings us new knowledge and information about the life, universe and the environment. For instance, teaching three states of matter; solid, liquid, gas, in order for them to understand it I will show a picture or an actual example of solid such as hammer, table, chair, cabinet and clock; for the liquid I will show them another example or let them bring a cup of water, soup or let them imagine a nearest river in their house and then ask them to go or observe later on; for the gas I can bring them in a kitchen and let them show the burner producing a fire or show them a hot air balloon. This strategy is quite effective since I ensure that the students learn based from reality. 

I will let them engage in various learning style and preference, if they are kinesthetic, I will let them dance showing how they interpret the topic if they are visual-spatial then let them describe states of matter by showing illustrations or drawings. Afterwards, let the students analyze their answers and learnings and make a comparison through chatting or having a conversation with their classmates. And finally have the evaluation of their learnings by making feedback and reflections on what they have learned
