Answer:

The public announcement I have chosen is one that was made by Samsung when they were announcing the launch of Samsung S7 and S8("Samsung’s Galaxy S8 launch event in 10 minutes", 2017).These days, firms are moving from the traditionalstructures to the modern structure; the Boundaryless structure. This is a structure in which all departments are affiliated and flexibly connected("What is boundaryless organization? definition and meaning", 2017). Departments are replaced by teams and the employees work very closely; status and rank are minimal and the organization and suppliers work closely. All the individuals in the firm participate in decision making. There exists a number of implications attributed to making Samsung boundaryless:

· Maximization on employees` capabilities and talents.

· Creation of a faster response to market fluctuations.

· Enhanced communication between divisions and functions.

The executives do not explicitly mention any efforts put up in a bid to attain the boundaryless status. Instead, they talk about the products they are launching. From my perspective I believe a few of the things mentioned can be taken as clues to Samsung`s intention of becoming boundaryless;

· The fact that the research department is consulted on ensuring that the phones are durable and efficient. This ensures that the research and development department is involved in a number of other departments` activities.

· The fact that Samsung is making the phones even better; for example the iris and the finger print scanners. These ideas cannot be reached by an individual by an individual. They require a variety of perspectives and ideas that are brought up by employees with different backgrounds.
