At what mass is the electron degeneracy pressure in a white dwarf overcome?

 

The electron degeneracy pressure can overcome the gravitational collapse of the white dwarf star which is having the mass below 1.44 solar masses. So, the white dwarf star could be collapsed. The limit where the electron degeneracy pressure protect the white dwarf from collapse is known as the Chandrashekar limit. The mass should be below 1.44 solar masses.
