Why do the United States and Japan continue to use the death penalty when most industrial nations have outlawed it? What might be the reasons for change in death penalty policies in these two world powers?

 

The death penalty is the criminal act that the offenders should be hanged to death, and it is seen that the offenders and the criminals should be declared the decision of hanging down. Most countries have decided that the offenders should not be hanged and there should not be the death penalty. They have decided, and they have made the policies that the offenders should be given different kinds of punishment (BBC, 2020). On the other hand, it is seen that the United States of America and Japan are the countries that have decided to favor the death penalty. It is seen that the countries have decided that serious and severe crimes should be given the death penalty. The reasons are for the change in the death penalty are the lesson to the offenders and the severity of the crime is kept in mind. So, these two countries should think about their policies and be flexible about the death penalty (M, 2017).
