Brand Marketing Manager
The position of a brand marketing manager for this organization will assist is smooth lining our marketing strategies to improve company performance. The brand marketing manager will be expected oversee the marketing team of the company. They will coordinate and approve all projects that the team comes up with to ensure improvement in the effectiveness of our advertisements and marketing tools (Flavin, 2019). They will plan strategies and make marketing road maps to develop and ensure continued brand presence in the market.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The brand marketing manager will be expected to develop effective product marketing strategies and road maps to increase volume of sales in the company. They will be required to come up with plans on how to improve the marketing strategies of the company. They will also be expected to develop sales tools for our products, and brief and train the sales team on new strategic plans depending on the market condition. The brand marketing manager is also expected to do extensive market research to gather data that will help the company develop and implement better and more effective marketing strategies. They will also guide the marketing team in defining a proper product positioning in the market to maximize sales. They will also take up the role of coordinating the projects of other specialists charged with the task of product positioning.
The brand marketing manager will also be expected to oversee all media and advertisement planning. They are expected to be actively involved in the creation process to ensure that material agreed upon by the marketing content creation team is up to par. They are also in charge of the process of package development. A creative and attractive package will go a long way into boosting sales and therefore the brand marketing manager should be involved in the development process to gauge its performance in the market. The brand marketing manager is also expected to conduct strategic competitive analysis to know the company’s current position in the market and to adjust its strategies accordingly. They will also conduct a consumer pattern analysis which will help the company identify which consumer needs to addressed.
The brand marketing manager will also be required to do product research to determine the weaknesses of the company’s products and the areas that need modification. It is also the brand managers responsibility to conduct the financial analysis and determine requirements for the marketing department. They will also be required to brief other departments on changes in the company systems in regards to marketing. The brand marketing manager is also expected to know the current proposed legislation to ensure that all marketing content and devices used by the company comply with the law to avoid law suits directed and the company. They should be keen on ensuring a maintained positive reputation of the company to help boost sales. The main goal of the brand marketing manager will be to execute marketing programs for the company that will increase brand awareness in the market (Flavin, 2019).
Requirements
To qualify for the position of brand marketing manager, the candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. A degree or diploma is Business Administration will be an added advantage. The candidate must have at least two years working experience in a position actively involved in the marketing creative process. The candidate should have experience in executing both online and offline marketing programs. The candidate should be experienced in using social media platforms and be knowledgeable in executing advertising programs on said platforms. The candidate should also have management skills and excellent verbal and communication skills. They should portray a high level of innovation and creativity. The candidate should be conversant and proficient in Microsoft Office applications which will be necessary for creation and presentation of marketing programs. The candidate should have statistical analysis skills that will be useful for brand marketing campaigns.
Compensation and Benefits Package
The employee compensation and benefits package for the brand marketing manager will include a 20% bonus after every end of year employee review. The employee will be provided a group health medical insurance cover by the company. They will be granted a total of one month paid leave a year with a one week vacation pay. The employee will be viable for employee stock ownership plans after a year of employment. The employee is also provided with paid parental leave in the event where maternal or paternal leave is necessary.
