The database is an essential piece of every software used by firms to design financial frameworks. The topics cover all the principles of data systems that financial organizations must understand to make effective decisions. The relational database is part of the topics covered in the course and helps manage data using tables. The different types of relationships in the designing database are one to one, many, and many to many. The most functional relationship is dependent on the rules of the company and the intended outcome. As a data consultant, the concepts covered in the course are directly applicable at my workplace.

Data consultation is a complex entity that plays a significant role in different business operations to achieve financial accountability. The opportunity to work as a data consultant in the Loan Lease and Trade Operations Team at the Bank of America requires one to apply knowledge on database technology. The current goal of the team of data consultants at the Bank of America is to understand and generate logistic visualizations. A relational database will help analyze and prove the benefits of blockchain investments and current payment options. The concepts outlined in different database technologies will help improve the performance of the LLTO team based on the company's KPIs. As a team, database management systems are often used in the tracking of leasing and loan processes. The team has applied different data concepts to design models that aid in collecting and tracking information that improves the group's financial performance.

Currently, the LLTO team is working on a project that focuses on developing a data analysis model that will collect and analyze data from different systems. The model will help the team have access to essential leasing and loan information that will reduce losses and improve the effectiveness of the banking system. The planned data model will be developed using the latest database technology on ERP to obtain information from multiple processors placed across the banking network. The distribution of network facilitates equal chances to data access which ensures that all processors are functional. Various processors will help the current database management system process data at high speed with minimal delays. Some of the aspects considered under KPIs are data collection and processing speed in the loaning and leasing process. The concepts discussed in class on the rational database are applicable in this project as the team will gather data and analyze it for credit-related decisions. As a data consultant, it is essential to access all data collected into the banking system for effective decision-making processes.

As a data consultant, it is essential to understand the application of the distributed database management system to increase reliability. Data consultants require access to bulky data from different organization sectors, which is achievable using multiple processors. The distributed database management system has made it easy for the bank to record and access customer data from different branches (Cocco et al, 2017). The design makes it easy to update all concerned parties on customer data on loaning or leasing activities as the data consultant. The improved technology has improved the team to carry on different projects successfully that has seen the performance of LLTO improve over a short time. The system allows the team to resolve all arising issues at branch levels, making it easy to have minimal errors in the collected data.

As discussed in the course, the concept of Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is applicable in the data consultation field. ERP is used in the management of daily activities within the organization and saves on time and cost. The Bank of America has many financial activities such as accounting, procurement, and project management, using ERP. The software is an example of the latest database technologies that have helped in logistic visualization and understanding of blockchain investment. As the data consultant, I am working on completing the ERP suite to improve the functionality of the LLTO team. The inclusion of enterprise performance management will aid in the budgeting, prediction, and reporting process adopted by each department (Uddin, et al, 2020). Based on the class discussions, EPM will help analyze and report financial outcomes, a critical role as the data consultant. The use of ERP at the organization has helped reduce errors as it eliminates duplication of data, affecting the financial outcome. The software can also be used to determine the effectiveness of blockchain investment that involves shares.
