        Nurses need to commit to a life of continuous learning to increase the level of their skills and knowledge. Lifelong learning also enables nurses to keep up to date with the continuous changes in their field, especially in relation to technology. They can also simplify their modes of practice and find practical means of providing health and other services to their clients.

          Since nurses contribute to a large percentage of organizations such as hospitals and hospices, the initiative to commit to lifelong learning increases the general performance of these organizations, and they can offer quality care and support. This contributes to the field of research, and the information may be used by several organizations that seek to improve their services. Karami et al.           When nurses intentionally commit to lifelong learning, it boosts the patients' trust in them. The patients are assured of the nurses’ dedication to their health. Research done by Salinda et al. (2021) proves that patients have more confidence in nurses when they know that they have furthered their education and are constantly advancing their learning. This is also important for the patients since they can access the quality care they deserve.

            Sigma Theta Tau International and other organizations for nurses can offer grants, loans, and other forms of scholarships for nurses to advance their learning. They can also fund research initiatives. These organizations can also organize workshops for nurses to contribute to their journey of lifelong learning. In doing this, the organization would not only be helping the nurses to build themselves but also be enabling them to provide better care to the patients, thus improving the healthcare industry as a whole.
