Of course, doing so means entering the less familiar world of policy and politics. While many nurses do not initially feel prepared to operate in this space effectively, the reward is the opportunity to shape and influence future health policy.

Furthermore, it will motivate the people, precisely the armed forces, by joining them in health coverage.

Part 2

As a nurse, I have come to accept the great need for improvements in the level of healthcare offered to patients and, principally, health insurance for soldiers and those serving in the military (Scott & Scott, 2021). This includes militia, the Army, and the Air force, who put their lives on the line for the sake of promoting peace. The Department of Veteran Affairs ensures that the military men and women are rendered free healthcare insurance. There is a significant need to integrate better healthcare insurance policies in the department to ensure that soldiers are accorded the best quality healthcare insurance possible. This will require the graceful input of policy-makers in Congress and the Senate.

            The Lead by Example act will be significant in ensuring there are acceptable policies to cover for the health of these persons in the Military men. The inclusion of Congress and the Senate members under the policy will ensure that they develop the appropriate policies and initiate the necessary constitutional amendment policies to ensure favorable health policies. The House of Representatives and the Senate members will be required to seek health insurance under the National Health Program and shift their focus in promoting the Department of Veteran Affairs health coverage. This will significantly impact the benefits accrued by the veterans.

            The sponsor for this bill is Warren Davidson, a representative in the Congress from Ohio. He argues that Implementing this bill aims to isolate and solve the Department of Veteran Affairs challenges. The latter has been fighting for increment disability benefits to soldiers mutilated in the line of duty (Korb & Toofan, 2021).
