Why You Will Fail to Have a Great Career

            To start with, making excuses makes people fail to have great careers. According to Career (2014), excuses are not only very counter-productive, but they are also very annoying. Society has a lot of people who makes up all kinds of excuses and blames others for personal failures. This type of perception of life makes people fail in their careers. When people justify their failure as a way out, they are only showing that they cannot control their lives and that they cannot adapt to the ever-changing environment around them.

            Secondly, some people are too scared of failure. Everyone fears failure, and there is no problem with it. When people fail, it implies that they are not good or not ready to realize that specific objective at that time. However, fear can be devastating from every viewpoint. According to Lopaze (2021), fear can use people’s energy and make them not chase their dreams. This becomes a common reason why individuals fail in their careers today but there is a need to manage a fear of failure and move toward their success. The best way for everyone is that possibly they will fail, but perhaps they will not. Running away from success as a result of fear of failure is the wrong direction to take.

            The third factor leading people to fail in their careers is their failure to pursue their passion. Smith on a TED radio hour encourages people to never be too doubtful or scared to dream big and expect that one day they will become successful by doing what they love the most (Kurita, 2016). It happens that doubt is the main and sometimes the only impediment to professional success. Therefore, people should understand that to succeed at what they love doing, they need to adapt to the conditions around them. Success in one’s career means that people have a high likelihood of forging their path and becoming leaders. People cannot lead if they lack the courage and strength to follow their dreams and passion.

Finally, people lack determination and confidence due to laziness. Those who have looked for a job for a long and have failed repeatedly tend to develop very low self-confidence in their professional worth (Covey, 2015). Therefore, it may be incredible for them to pursue their career goals. Also, Remi (2019) consider others too lazy and want everything to materialize quickly without hassles. If possible, they would like the others to pursue their dreams on their behalf.
