a. Deontology. It is also known as deontological ethics and can be defined as a normative ethical theory that believes that morality of a particular action is based on it being right or wrong according to certain rules as opposed to its consequences. Teleology is the belief that everything has use or a special purpose.
b. Metaethics is the study of scope, nature and the moral judgement meaning. Normative ethics is a subfield of moral philosophy/ethics that is concerned with the criteria of what is wrong and right
c. Applied ethics is important because it has helped expand the study of ethics far beyond academic philosophical discourse.
