jQuery and React JS are JavaScript libraries that help come up with equipotential results through the use of distinct methods. React JS is mainly used for developing user interfaces and is designed in an adoptive approach whereby you can use a minimal or considerable amount of React as you need. Conversely, jQuery is a swift, small, and feature-abundant java library used to develop HTML document manipulation and traversal.  

jQuery changed the destiny of the web user interface by allowing developers to produce interactive experiences straightforwardly. In contrast, React JS is adopted as it allowed embedding HTML within JavaScript. jQuery DOM interaction and manipulation is simple with different methods and API's while React JS helps manage your pages' state.  This can be embedding dynamic data such as the user's profile name and picture, and the web page is updated effectively every time the data is modified.

One of React's strengths is that since it is a UI-definite library, it is efficient in developing web apps containing complex functions and a diversity of views. jQuery is not appropriate for developing large-sized apps as it prompts the formation of spaghetti code. On the other hand, React is suitable for large-sized apps because of its components-oriented engineering and virtual DOM implementation. Moreover, jQuery is the most used JavaScript library today, although it is constrained in certain facets. React has been growing exponentially, and web developers are slowly shifting from using jQuery to React JS. Many web apps are using React, such as Netflix, Airbnb, TripAdvisor, and Instagram.

Many gaming organizations are shifting to React to develop their web applications, so React JS is mainly used and best for developing web applications. Similarly, it allows developers to carry out more complex functions and primarily highlights User interface development.  We should learn React since it is growing exponentially, and it appears to grow further in the coming years. Although developers intending to build simple websites and add some style can rely on jQuery. It works like magic, be it an animated navigation menu, powering simple contact form, and primary trigger event in button.
