Industries emitting harmful gases and waste in the environment cause several damages to a large number of people. The economic policies of the government can reduce the investment and profits of these industries to protect a large number of individuals. The policy of putting a limit or tax on the emission of harmful gases will protect people from pollutants. The government should compel these industries to set up various technologies which will reduce the emission. The implementation of this policy will force certain firms to leave the market.
Various industries overexploit the resources in the environment and destruct the forests. These activities lead to an increase in global warming. The government can impose restrictions on cutting trees to limit the destruction caused by the industries.
