The project can be something you have actually created during/as part of your internship, or it can be something you create/mock-up

The project can be something you have actually created during/as part of your internship, or it can be something you create/mock-up. It should be a deliverable (brochure, spreadsheet, presentation, training booklet, video, the list goes on), do not write me another paper. This should relate to your internship or the company and be responding to a need the company has and have value-added properties.  You should use major-specific skills you gained during class and your internship.  Some examples could include, but are not limited to: HM/HRA majors could create Banquet Event Order (BEO) Packets, Marketing students could create a commercial or advertising campaign, Aviation Management students could create a pre-inspection plan for a FAA inspection (using FAA part 139), CIS students could submit coding they have created to solve a problem, Economics students could compile usage data, customer behavior data, etc. in a spreadsheet with graphs, etc.  This is an opportunity to be creative and showcase your knowledge and ability.  Show me what you have been working on and learning.

This project is intentionally left open and broad, so that you can submit a project fitting of your internship and displaying of your skills.  When you are assigned a project by a boss or client, you will not always have every detail.  Consider this a real-world challenge.

Provide a write up that accompanies your project to explain what you are submitting and how and why you created/used it in your internship.  Substantiate the write up about your project with evidence and reasoning, including three reputable sources (newspaper, magazine, journal article, textbook), supporting your project and supporting why/how you created your project as you did.  You may use MLA or APA when citing sources and as your references page, but be consistent.

Due to confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements, you may have to mock something up instead of using something directly from your internship.  Please check with your supervisor for guidance if necessary.
