In the scenario below, you are the Director of HR. Consider how you would address the performance issue described. You are free to add any additional information or assumptions that help develop your story, such as giving names to the company and people in the scenario, or perhaps some specific examples related to the performance issue. You have agreed on several initiatives that she will lead, which are important to the organization.

She tends to start these initiatives with excitement and interest, but you notice she loses focus unless you constantly prompt her.
