Discuss your plan for completing your clinical hours. What specific skills or goals would you like to accomplish during this clinical rotation? How do you plan to use evidence to support your clinical decisions?

My current plan for completing my clinical hours is to complete 40 hours with a specialty clinic, 60 hours at urgent care, and the remaining hours at a primary care clinic. At the specialty clinic, I will be following a doctor at outpatient interventional radiology, which primarily focuseson biopsies of thyroids, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and tunneled port placement for chemo. Theurgent care clinic typically sees patients that have had falls, cuts that possibly need stitches, moderate and mild asthma attacks, fever or flu and skin rashes.
It is also essential for me to stay organized in this semesters' clinical rotation. Therefore, I have to be punctual to the site at all times, submit self to preceptor teachings, go to the site with the requiredtools, and be eager to learn and work as a team. I must be ready to meditate to free my mind when the rotation gets tough. Every week, I will go to the clinical site with extreme confidence. The following are the two clinical skills that I would like to accomplish as I go on with this rotation which are paracentesis and thoracentesis.
I will use Evidence-based practice together with a clinician's expertise and a patient's values and preferences in making health care decisions to provide the most effective care that is available, with the aim of improving patient outcomes
