You own a small pizza shop.  Near the entrance of the shop, a leak has developed in the ceiling.  Water drips down from the ceiling onto the floor whenever it rains or snows, making the floor slippery and visibly wet. You are waiting until the end of the winter to fix it.  One day, someone comes into your shop and slips on the puddle, breaking a leg.  The customer sues you.
