I have worked in the healthcare field for many years, mainly doing receptionist or admitting work but I have worked along side many of nurses along the way. Working in the healthcare field you have to be a team player in order for the patient to have the best outcome possible.This course has allowed me to understand more of the roles and the scope of work that RN's are capable of as well as the responsibilities they may hold within a healthcare team for treating patients. Nurses aren't just responsible for treating the patient medically, but helping to comfort them when they need it the most. I enjoy being able to help people feel better whether they are sick orjust feeling down. I will use the information learned in this course to continue to grow as a nurse and understand how my role plays in a healthcare team.
