• Jasper jones relationship with his family are strained because they are often experiencing violence and suffering because of racism. He was often described half caste in town. In the jones family, we can also see a forced independence placed on jasper because of Davids lack of responsibility of him. His father showed lack of care towards japser because of what happened to his wife. Rosie was killed in the car crash and Jack father, who was driving blames himself for everything. This drove himself into alcoholism and grief.
