Globally, water is not an equal right available to everyone. This is increasingly becoming more common in the United States as well.  How does having access to clean water impact our ability to healthy, happy and successful? Should every human have access to clean water, even if they can't afford it? Should clean water be a human right or a luxury? 

How does having access to clean water impact our ability to be healthy, happy, and successful?

• Access to a clean and steady supply of clean drinking water would help us ensure a healthy life. And by having a healthy life, an individual can pursue his/her own endeavors and be able to succeed as an individual, professional, and as a member of the community. 

Should every human have access to clean water, even if they can't afford it? 

• Yes, every human should have access to clean water, even if they can't afford it.
• We should cooperate and contribute in our ways to reduce the cost of clean drinking water ensure that everyone has access to it. 

Should clean water be a human right or a luxury? 

• Clean water should be a human right rather than a mere luxury.
• The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that every individual has the right to life, liberty, and security of person. And life, freedom, and security would be impossible without access to clean water. For instance, clean drinking water gives us a healthy and satisfying life, which would then lead to freedom, equal rights, and opportunities. 

Step-by-step explanation

• Despite the abundance of water, many regions and a large portion of the human population still have no access to healthy and clean drinking water. And drinking water may be accessible to some but is relatively expensive. Only a few national governments have made it one of their priorities in providing their citizens with clean drinking water.
• As declared by the United Nations on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that every individual has the right to life, liberty, and security of person. And to make this possible, governments should ensure that every individual should've access to a clean and steady supply of clean drinking water.
