Your poem should be between 15 and 30 lines and must be free verse(it does not rhyme). The reason for this is that as soon as you try to make your poem rhyme, you severly narrow the language you can use for your description. So no rhyming for hte assignment.
The poem should bring to life a specific place or moment you have experienced in the natural word. Consider the sensory details that are most important(sight, sound , smell, touch , feel) and incorporate these into your writing.
