Please use the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct to respond to this situation. You must provide 2 Principles that can be applied to the situation. For Situation 3, at least one of the principles should be from Section 1 of the Code the other principle can come from any other section. The code will begin with a P. You should provide each code and at least 5 sentences (per code) on how that code applies to the situation and how the situation should be/should have been handled by the individuals listed in the situation. Ethical Situation 3
One 3-year-old in your class spends most of her time rolling a truck alongside the block area. She howls and disrupts large-group activities and bangs her head to put herself to sleep at naptime. Her pediatrician has told her parents, "She will grow out of it." You have found she needs constant one-on-one attention, and other children's parents are beginning to complain that this child takes too much of the adults' time and energy.
