Human resource practices are different in eastern and western countries, the main points of differences are:

• Organizations structure differs in eastern and western countries. In eastern countries, employees strictly have to follow organizational hierarchy, whereas in western countries, there are more flexible structures.
• Leadership style in eastern countries is mostly autocratic, whereas in western countries, leadership styles are mostly democratic.
• In eastern countries, human resource management plays an important role in settling up the disputes, they resolve the conflict with harmony and mutual understanding, whereas in western countries, individual goals are given more importance and there are more chances of arising disputes among the employees.
