The Fox Field Public Library has dropped its COVID restrictions and is now fully open to the public. However, the number of people, especially teenagers, using the library is still much lower than it was before the pandemic.
Write a formal email addressed to the Head Librarian in which you suggest the library start a reading group for teenagers that focuses on fiction to encourage them to return to the library.
- Your email needs to mention some of the ideas about stories discussed in the TED talk "The Politics of Fiction." Make sure you clearly mention either the name of this TED talk or the speaker (Elif Shafak).
- You must refer to either "The Juniper Tree" or "The Last Night of the World."
- You are required to mention at least one other story that was not studied in our COM101 class. (This can be something you studied in another class or read on your own, but it must be a printed story, novel, play or narrative poem.)
