Additional time for the cause will not only burden learners but it will also impact on tuition fee payment processes.

This memo seeks to share the group's report on the new requirement for the archaeology degree programs. The group engaged a multifaceted approach to determine the appropriateness and justification of the proposed requirements. Consultative meeting with students in the university indicates that learners are doing well with the current program and there is no need for extension of study duration. Additionally, detailed research seeking to determine factors that can invoke the need to extend the duration of a degree program contradict reasons stipulated in the new requirements. Increased demand for training needs such as enhanced technical skills can cause extension of study programs to meet the demand. However, the current duration offers are adequate to train and examine student pursuing archaeology studies and imparting relevant skills.
