The global economy is the Economy of the world whereby the economies of the individual nations in the globe are combined together(Hanson, Zott & Thomson, 2013). Free trade is a policy whereby exportation and importation is not restricted in an economy, in short, an economy exports and imports goods.
Free trade is of great benefit to the global economy due to various reasons:
a). Free trade enables countries to acquire products of high quality at lower prices. This helps to control the rate of inflations which enables consumers to use their income on other products(Hanson, Zott & Thomson, 2013).
b). Free trade enables growth to occur in a country. Some countries depend on exports for the growth of their economy. An increase in the GDP of a particular country consequently leads to an increase in the global growth(Hanson, Zott & Thomson, 2013).
c). Free trade gives a chance for creativeness and innovations to take place. When a there's trade between countries, ideas are shared and copied. This leads to innovations which improve infrastructure, industrialisation which consequently leads to global growth(Hanson, Zott & Thomson, 2013).
