My Research paper

Introduction.

Qualitative research methods are primarily exploratory research used to understand the underlying reasons and opinions of a given group of people.

Since employees in the workplace differ in personalities and how they perform the tasks assigned to them, it is paramount to use qualitative research methods to appraise their work performance. The quantitative methods cannot be used because it is very nearly impossible to physically calculate the amount of work each employee completes in an organization.

For example, an instance of qualitative research to determine the factors influencing the members of staff's poor performance in an organization may be accomplished via the following qualitative means:

Qualitative data can also be collected by interviewing the selected group of Employees. Questions asked during the interview might be focusing on the candidate applying, providing some of their opinions on factors that discourage them from performing well in their workplace.

Results and conclusion.

After collecting the qualitative data on the employees' opinions and contribution to factors that hamper their performance. The researcher might come up with the following conclusions and assumptions.

a) Most employees might be receiving low salaries and wages; hence this factor lowers their morale towards work and tasks allocated to them, therefore poor performance.

b) Heavy workloads -this is a factor that discourages employees from performing this is because, in the long run, the employees become disgruntled with their work, and the effects of these are seen in the quality of their work. A lot of workloads also cause stress, depression, and tolls on their health.

c) Bad leadership - Some employees work best under instruction and guidance, and with a lack of mentorship, their performance may be bleak. Harassment by management may also cause aggressiveness and punitive behaviour of the employees.

d) Stressed-employees - Especially in the workplace, do not perform. This is because modern workplaces are full of demands and targets, forcing the employees to work under pressure which results in poor performance.

e) Gossip, Clash of values, Gossip, and lack of transparency - The workplace consist of people from all different walks of life. If the is a lack of understanding each other and respect each other's values, may result in a hostile workspace that can result in poor workspace performance.

f) Poor working conditions also demoralize the employees and may lead to employees performing poorly.

Conclusion

In closing, qualitative research outlines the opinions, ideas, and factors collected from respondents and interprets them to come up with robust and concrete outcomes.
