World Health Organization(WHO) have opposed all form of female genital mutation because this practice has a lot of short time and long time health complications. short time complications of this cultural practice are; urinary problem, infections, genital tissue swelling, wound healing problem, severe pain, excessive bleeding, and sometimes death and Longtime complication of this practice are; it increases the risk of childbirth complication like difficulty in delivery,excessive bleeding during childbirth. sexual problems like pain during intercourse or decrease satisfaction during intercourse is another effect of this practice. this practice also causes psychological problems, vaginal problems, and menstrual problems
