Discussion Topic:

Try to recall a situation when you were part of an informal organizational that operated within a formal one and share your experience with the class.

What was it that drew the informal group together?

Were you all for or against something?

What was it that drew you together?

Do you think it was obvious to others that you were part of that group, or were you more “underground”?

Finally, is it still part of your life? If not, what caused it to dissipate?

Answer:

Yes, I was part of an informal group at my workplace. I transferred from another city, so I have a language problem there. Other colleagues who belong to the same town know the language of there, but some of us have issues with this. We were 8-10 colleagues who transferred here. So this was the reason behind the formation of our informal group. Our main problem was language, and we all want that organisation should make a rule regarding the only one word within the organisation.

It was not evident for other to be the part of the group because this group was formed because of languages problem, so I have a question regarding that, and I became the part of the group.

Group is still part of my life as I am working in the same organisation, and our group is becoming more prominent with time.
