How will Sociology help guide your future decision making in this realm?

Sociology is the science of society. It is precisely the study of human interactions, their societal conditions and its consequences. I think it can mostly guide me in my future decisions regarding politics. Sociology studies about the structure of society from the highest institutions and bureaucracies down to the lowest ones in the suburbs will help me decide who deserves to be elected depending on the demands of the given post.

By studying how people and cultures interact with each other, I can be able to point out the person who really values the lives of the people inside the community that they want to govern.

Sociology will help me identify the genuineness of the proposed projects by these incoming possible leaders of the nation.

If I myself then, would want to assume a position of service for my countrymen, this field will help me to evaluate the root causes of each social problem the community is facing and how to address it properly. It will also help me grasp the heart of the people that I wanted to serve. The higher the position that I'm aiming to pursue, the deeper knowledge that sociology offers can be of help and great assistance to me.

Understanding sociology can also help me not to repeat any mistakes that was made in the past since the boons and banes of every action are tackled in this subject for future references. Availability of lots of ideas of what to implement effectively can be gained by learning the different theories that applies to every societal isue that I may encounter as a politician. It can therefore guide me in making valid radical changes that can lead into a more stabilized society.
