The HR Department and work center supervisors have a duty to work together to ensure employee development and hence better performance. The HR department mainly focuses on the strategic HR management while the supervisors focus on the tactful phase of the strategy. Through the supervisors, the HR department is able to conduct performance assessment and identify which areas the employee are experiencing challenges. The supervisors act as a communication link between the employees and the HR department. The employees can suggest better of more efficient strategies that the organization can adopt to the supervisors who in turn communicate with the HR if they find it to be viable to begin with. Also, in case any strategies are implemented, the employees can give feedback through the supervisors which renders the organization communication structure to be effective.

Coordination between the HR Department and the supervisors will create room for development of programs that help motivate the employees and hence enhance satisfaction in the job position leading to better results.
