1)I tried eating beets.I was able to persuade my sisters, brothers and mother to take the beets too. I can add healthy food onto my diet by abandoning the intake of refined bread and consuming whole-grain bread. I can also add healthy foods to my diet by creating a list whenever I go shopping for food. I can also increase my preference for eggs for breakfast. I can also increase my protein-intake levels. I try to be mindful of my eating habits but I have some unhealthy eating habits which I am working to change. I take a lot of processed foods, eating in hurries, mindless eating and taking adding a little more sugar on my tea. My sisters, brothers and mother usually depend on me to decide on which meal to take at any time of the day. My meal preferences, at most times, influence their eating habits and preferences. I also do the shopping at most times.

  1. I need to lose weight. I have added significant weight over the past few months and if I do not lose weight, I may fall victim to the undesirable effects of overweight. I can reduce my sugar intake significantly. I can also stop taking too much processed foods.
  2. I did push-ups. The push-ups made me feel better and more relaxed. I also felt stress-free and motivated to stay even more physically active. After some time, I felt some enhanced stability and strength of my abdominal and arm muscles.

Step-by-step explanation

  1. I had not taken beets before. I had only heard of them and had promised myself to give them a try. I got some beets from the produce section of the supermarket. I learnt that the beets worked best when grated to form salad. I also learnt that grates are good as brain-growth boosters and regulators of the body's blood flow. I got home from the supermarket and found my brothers, sisters and mother in the house. I managed to convince them to take the beets with me. From my encounter with beets, I realized that I can do a lot more to make my diet healthy. I realized that I can increase my preferences for eggs for breakfast. I also realized that proteins are good for the healthy growth of the body. I can increase my intake of protein-rich foods to ensure that I stay healthy. To achieve a balanced and healthy diet, I can have a list every time I go shopping for foodstuff. In the list, I can include healthy foods that will make up a balanced diet. I have learnt of healthy eating habits and I have been trying to accomplish each of them. I still, however, experience drawbacks with some unhealthy eating habits. I usually eat mindlessly and for no apparent reasons. I also find great taste in unprocessed foods which may be harmful to my health. A times, I eat while in a hurry and strive to finish the food on my plate; which is not a healthy eating habit. I am also fond of adding excess sugar onto my tea which can be detrimental health-wise. I make most of the decisions in the household's dietary. I decide on which foods to buy and prepare. As a result, I influence my family's choice of foods and eating habits.
  2. In the blast couple of months, I have gained weight significantly. Overweight poses a lot of problems to an individual's health and well-being. As a result, I feel like I should lose some weight. I can reduce my intake of sugar beverages; that way, I will check my sugar levels positively. I can also check on my intake of processed foods. Processed foods may contain excess levels of ingredients like sugar, fat and sodium. Consuming these ingredients in large is detrimental to health.
  3. I have not been physically active for a long time. I tried doing several push-ups between my household duties. The push-ups did me a lot of good. After the push-up sessions, I felt more relaxed. I was stress-free and had a very bright mood after the push-up sessions. The push-ups also improved my physical health. After some time, I felt stable in my muscles. I felt some strength on my limbs and abdomen. My muscles grew stronger. The more I did the push-ups, the more motivated I felt to stay more physically active.
