Answer:
Mixture - A mixture is a material system consisting of two or more distinct components that are mingled but not chemically united. A mixture is a physical combination of two or more substances in which the individual components' identities are preserved. Alloys, solutions, suspensions, and colloids are examples of mixtures.
Solution - is a combination of one or more solutes dissolved in a solvent that is homogenous. The substance in which a solute dissolves to form a homogenous mixture is called a solvent. The material that dissolves in a solvent to form a homogenous mixture is referred to as a solute.
Suspension - is a heterogeneous mixture in which some particles settle out after a period of time.
Colloid - The particles are equally distributed over the dispersion medium, which might be a solid, liquid, or gas. A colloid's scattered particles are not as big as those in a suspension, thus they do not settle out after standing.
Colloidal suspension -is defined as a combination containing particles of one component suspended in a continuous phase of another component with sizes between 10-7 and 10-9 meters. The characteristics of the combination are similar to those of a solution and a fine suspension. By comparing their properties, one can identify the difference between a colloid and a suspension. A suspension is hazy or opaque, with particles that may be filtered and separate when let to stand. Colloids, on the other hand, scatter visible light, have transparent particles that are not filterable, and do not separate while upright.
Precipitate - is an insoluble solid that forms from a liquid solution in chemistry. Precipitation is the process of an insoluble solid emerging from a solution.
