If this happens, I will explain to him and not to feel bad because he was really on the list of the best employees and I personally wrote them. I will assure him that I just followed the instruction given by higher authority to provide list of names and submit it to them, and they will be rewarded with cash but I don't know why he was not recognized and why there is no cash given to him. In addition, I will just say to him that there might be some last minute changes, and I was not informed about it.

On the management part, it should be their responsibility to confirm, investigate complaints of employees and if these complaints are really existing they must do their best to offer solution. In a work setting, environment for the employees must be safe for them to work properly and effectively. Of course, they would complain if they are afflicted just because of their work especially because your working environment is prone to accident and the management can't even provide safety gears or protection for them.

The management should provide safety and protection for their employees and compensate them properly and if their salary will be reduced, they must have proper explanation and that this is not their will but due to unforeseen events they had to reduce their salary and that they will make sure to do their best to return their original salary once the business prospers again. As for the safety and protection, this must be met to avoid accidents or any lawful suit that may occur.

For the staff part, I think they should understand if their salary got reduced due to economic difficulties because these circumstances are unavoidable. In terms of their health and safety, they must communicate and explain well to the management about their condition. They must provide proof on existing conditions they are experiencing and these affects negatively on the quality of their work and health as well. It is also important that the employees must emphasize to the management that they must also feel that they are protected and safe at work especially that their working conditions are already prone to accidents. If they feel protected and safe, these will give them focus and peace of mind while doing their job.
