(a) What do you think is the message being conveyed in the annual report? For example, is management optimistic about profitability in the forthcoming financial year?
(b) How long is the report in pages?
(c) Where are the financial statements located in the report?
(d) Is the company doing well financially? How do this year's results compare with previous results?
(e) How many pages do the financial statements occupy?
(f) How much of the report is devoted to nonverbal forms of communication?
(g) Are there photographs in the report? If so, what do they depict? Do they reflect the message being conveyed in the report?
(h) Are there graphs in the report? If so, what has been graphed?
(i) What voluntary social disclosures are made in the report?
(j) What is your overall impression of the annual report? Does it make you want to buy shares in the company? If you already own shares in the company, would it confirm that you have made a good decision in buying them?
